I’m Vanessa Perrone, a Montreal Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, owner of Motive Nutrition, member of l’Ordre Professionnel des Diététistes du Québec, Dietitians of Canada and nutrition expert for Global Montreal Morning News. I completed my B.Sc. in nutrition at the University of Montreal, where I also received a Masters of Science in nutrition with a focus on pediatric food allergy, vitamin D status and bone health in collaboration with the SainteJustine University Hospital Centre.

Since the best diet is the one you can stick to, you’ve got to love your lifestyle in order to live it. What does that mean? It means eating whole foods for nourishment and because you love how they make you fell, it means moving your body for pleasure instead of punishment and it means loving your body for all that it is, instead of hating it for what it isn’t.
