Is it OK to cheat on your diet?

June 13, 2013 | byVanessa Perrone

cheat on your diet

I was never a fan of cheating.

It just seems nonsensical to refer to cheating when you’re eating, especially if we’re talking about a lifestyle.

I cheated   or   I had a big cheat day

The word carries a negative connotation and it seems that whenever cheating is involved, guilt is never too far behind. And if there’s one thing we want to avoid, it’s mixing feelings of guilt with our eating habits. It’s a volatile combo.

So the first matter of business in today’s video, is scratching the word cheat from your food vocab and using the word treat instead.

Next, we discuss why you should, in fact, learn how to treat yourself right. Because it’s not a matter of should you or shouldn’t you, it’s just a matter of how. Failing to find balance between healthful foods and treat foods in your diet, can either weigh down on your goals or send you into a tailspin of restriction, deprivation and frustration. Finally, in today’s video, we tackle three simple steps to treat yourself healthfully.

Happy viewing!

How do you treat yourself? What do you consider to be a treat food?

I love having chocolate as a treat! Lately I’ve been obsessed with the Lindt truffles…they are sooo good!

It truly is beautiful cost plenty of in my opinion. For my part, in the event that just about all webmasters and bloggers manufactured great information because you performed, online will be a lot more useful than before.
