MEAL PREP FOR THE WIN
I often hear people say that despite knowing what it means to eat healthfully, they still can’t seem to make it happen. Can you relate?
In my experience, this happens due to a) priority/willingness issue or b) a strategy/routine issue.
Assuming your health and self-care is your top priority, if you still struggle to put the pieces together, my bet is that a little prep will give you the helping hand you need.
When it comes to winning wellness strategies, meal prep takes the cake. Hands down. That’s because meal prep is the strategy that bridges the gap between wanting to eat well and nourishing your body. How? By alleviating your weeknight food-related decision making, because, let’s face it, it’s not exactly firing on all cylinders at the end of a workday, is it?
I’ve done meal prep tutorials before, that you can watch here and here, but today I am sharing the components of my weekly vegetable prep routine. It’s the routine I do without fail every single week that allows my husband and I to keep our vegetable intake where it needs to be all week.
This is a great routine if you’re a beginner to meal prep or if you’re just starting on your wellness journey, since laying a strong vegetable foundation is always the first step to nourishment and health. So come into my kitchen and watch the video below to learn how I prep my vegetables for the week.

I use this printable as a weekly action plan and will usually choose 2-3 options from the prep list which allows me to stock our fridge and bellies with veggies for the week. Simply print and prep!

Really appreciate this tutorial and I’m looking forward to checking out the cheatsheet. I’m the cook for me and my wife, and I can see how doing prep in advance will save a lot of time. Thanks again.
